Head of Chancery of the Tanzania High Commission, Mrs. Judica Nagunwa has reiterated her country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Nigeria and also sought direct flights between both countries.
Nagunwa, during her meeting with the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, emphasised that the launch of direct flights would not only enhance trade and tourism between both countries but would also deepen cultural and people-to-people ties.
She expressed the readiness of the Tanzanian authorities to collaborate closely with Nigeria to actualize this goal.
Responding, Keyamo reiterated the federal government’s resolve to expand Nigeria’s aviation frontiers and promote stronger air transport linkages across Africa.
The minister in a statement issued Sunday by his Special Adviser ron Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood,
welcomed the proposal and assured Nagunwa of the ministry’s willingness to facilitate necessary processes in line with Nigeria’s bilateral and regulatory frameworks.
