The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume has issued appointment letters to the 72 Chairmen, Managing Directors, and Executive Directors of the River Basin Development Authorities three months after they were appointed by President Bola Tinubu.
TheHintsNews gathered that the appointees paid a courtesy visit to the Tinubu Support Group campaign office after collecting their letters of appointment from SGF office.
Checks revealed that the delay in the issuance of appointment letters to the appointees without the office of the SGF giving reasons created an atmosphere of confusion.
The appointees met with Hon. James Faleke to express their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in their respective positions.
Faleke charged them to be good ambassadors of the President, leveraging their roles to boost agriculture and harness the potential of the river basins for national development.
