President Bola Tinubu has approved the pulling out of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) out of the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
The minister of FCT, Nyelsom Wike, disclosed this at a press conference on Friday in Abuja.
He also revealed that the President has also approved the creation of the FCT Civil Service Commission to allow for staff career progression.
Wike stressed that this would allow the administration to get access to loans for project execution among other benefits.
He stressed that the approval would enhance the civil servants’ career progression, saying what president Tinubu did short time in office burns out of courage and political will to do what others could not do.
The minister pointed out that approval of the Executive Bill signed by the former president in acting capacity would remove workers’ progress stagnation.
He maintained that Mr. President also approved the establishment of a Secretariat that would take care of matters relating to women.
