The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of T. Pumpy Concept, Akintayo Adaralegbe has said that the proposed mega city to be unveiled on March 1st would reshape the urban landscape of Abuja.
He added that the proposed mega city would also address some of the city’s most pressing issues, such as the housing deficit and high unemployment rates.
Adaralegbe disclosed while addressing a press conference this on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said as part of its effort to support the federal and state governments in tackling Nigeria’s housing deficit, the mega city would be affordable for the majority of Nigerians, offering a flexible payment plan.
Adaralegbe stated: “Set to be officially unveiled on March 1st, the T Pumpy mega city promises to reshape the urban landscape of Abuja and address some of the city’s most pressing issues, such as the housing deficit and high unemployment rates.
“The mega city is more than just a residential and commercial development. It is envisioned as a luxury hub that will also enhance global connectivity and create a vibrant, prosperous community.”
Adaralegbe noted the mega city was also designed not only to provide much-needed housing for Nigerians but to serve as a catalyst for economic growth and job creation.
He stressed it was a crucial project that would contribute significantly to the development of both Abuja and the nation as a whole.
Adaralegbe added: “The T Pumpy mega city is set to create numerous job opportunities in various sectors, from construction to operations, retail, and other industries.
“This large-scale development will require a substantial workforce during both its construction and operational phases, providing employment to thousands of skilled and unskilled workers.
“Given the high unemployment rates in Nigeria, especially among youth, the creation of jobs through this project is of critical importance.”
“Addressing the housing crisis in Nigeria is another key objective of the T Pumpy mega city. With a rapidly growing population, especially in urban areas such as Abuja, the need for affordable housing has never been greater.”
