The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed the Rivers State Chapter’s elective congresses indefinitely.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja.
However, no reason was given for the sudden postponement of the congresses.
In the initial timetable and schedule of activities, Ward Congress was scheduled to hold on 26th October, 2024, while 2nd November, 2024 was the date fixed for LGA Congress and 9th November, 2024 was slated for State Congress.
Morka said: “The All Progressives Congress (APC) Rivers State Chapter’s elective congresses earlier scheduled for 26th October, 2024 (Ward Congress), 2nd November, 2024 (LGA Congress) and 9th November, 2024 (State Congress), have been postponed.
“New dates for the Congresses will be announced in due course.”
