The Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredoku has returned to the country after months of medical vacation.
The governor was flown to Germany Germany on May 31 to get foreign medical attention
Unconfirmed reports have it that the governor had been down with leukemia. Leukemia is the cancer of the blood.
Akeredolu arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja in a private jet with United Aviation flight number N728LB.
TheHintsNews checks revealed that the governor would immediately be flown to Ibadan Airport, enroute Akure, the state capital.
A source said immigration officials will only stamp his passport in Abuja since he is just coming into the country.
The source stated: “He will then be immediately flown to Ibadan Airport, possibly for onward movement, or maybe he will spend the remaining days of his extended medical leave in his Ibadan home.
“This much is clear since he will not be flying to Akure where there is a local airport. He will possibly stay in Ibadan.”
