The Senator representing Cross River North, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has announced a high-powered “Meet the People” tour across the five local government areas of the district.
In a statement by Team Jari Media in Abuja on Tuesday said the engagement is strictly for key stakeholders whose influence shapes the district’s political and social landscape.
The tour is coming after a robust and engaging rally in Abuja in preparation for the one million man at the senatorial headquarters in Ogoja Local Government and other lined up programmes to have on the spot NEEDS assessment and concerns.
The tour, billed to kick-off on Thursday, is designed as an interactive platform for the Senator to engage directly with political leaders, traditional authorities, and grassroots organizers.
Those invited include: All APC Stakeholders in each of the LGAs; APC Chapter Chairmen and their Executive Committees; All APC Ward Chairmen and their Executive Committees and Traditional Rulers from across the Northern Senatorial District.
The itinerary released showed that the Senator’s team will on Thursday visit Obanliku, Obudu, and Bekwarra local government areas. Friday will be the turn of Ogoja local government, and on Saturday, the train will be in Yala Local Government Area.
The “Meet the People” tour is billed as more than just a political gathering; it is a consultative mission aimed at fostering a bottom-up approach to governance.
“Join Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe as he engages with constituents, listens to their concerns, and shares his plans for the development of Cross River North,” the statement from Team Jari Media noted.
By prioritising dialogue with traditional rulers and party executives, the Senator aimed to align his legislative agenda with the immediate needs of the people.
From infrastructure to social welfare, the tour is expected to set the tone for the Senator’s developmental priorities as the 2027 political cycle approaches.
