President Bola Tinubu Wednesday signed the controversial Electoral Act Amendment Bill into law.
TheHintsNews reports that the passage of the Bill was met with stiff opposition both from the Senate and the House of Representatives at the plenary on Tuesday.
Though the opposition lawmakers vehemently kicked against Electronic and the manual transmission of results, the All Progressives Congress (APC), who are in the majority have their way.

The passage of the Bill forced the opposition lawmakers to stage a walk out to show their grievances.
Eventually both the Senate and the House of the National Assembly on Tuesday after months of deliberations.
