Troops of the Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai, have neutralised 14 terrorists in seven days in coordinated operations across multiple locations in Borno and Adamawa States.
The military in a statement issued Monday said on 27 September, 2025, the troops during offensive operations neutralised 11 terrorists at Loskori Kura in Mafa Local Government Area.
It added that the troops recovered four AK 47 Rifles and other assorted arms, ammunition and a cache of drugs with another terrorist neutralised on the same day at Konduga LGA during a night offensive operation.
It added: “On 22nd September, troops neutralised a Boko Haram scout at Kolori Karumi, West of Alau Dam in Konduga Local Government Area.
“Similarly, on 24th September, a fighting patrol in Zar Village, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, recovered one AK-47 rifle, while troops at Forward Operating Base Magumeri intercepted another rifle from two suspected kidnappers.
“On 25th September, gallant troops repelled a large-scale attack on Forward Operating Base Azir in Damboa, killing one insurgent and recovering three AK-47 rifles and materials for Improvised Explosive Devices.”
In addition to these operational successes, it revealed that the troops intensified strangulation efforts to deny terrorists access to logistics.
It disclosed that on 27 September, troops intercepted large quantities of urea fertiliser abandoned in shops at the Central Market, Mubi North, an item often used in producing explosives.
It said the same day, patrols recovered 20 jerricans of smuggled Premium Motor Spirit along Fillin Ball–Gella Road in Mubi South after smugglers fled the area.
