In August 2023, terrorists, obviously with better intelligence, ambushed soldiers in Chikoba community, Shiroro, Local Government Area of Niger State, killing no fewer than 25 of them. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) has arrested 80-year-old grandpa, Ayuba Ashiru and 82-year-old grandma Mrs. Uloma Sunday as well as her daughter Chisom Uchechi, 32, in raids carried out across the country.
