The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has arrested 78 suspects and seized illicit drugs in raids conducted late on April 19. The coordinated raid was carried out at about 23:40 hours by officers from Tungan Maje, Kubwa, Jabi, Nyanya, Kabusa, Karmo, Utako, Dawaki, and Gwarinpa Divisions. The series of raids targeted known black spots and uncompleted buildings in their respective areas of responsibility. A fatal accident involving a truck and commercial tricycle has claimed the lives of three persons in Akure, Ondo state. The accident that occurred at the Itagbanja axis, Oke-Aro, along Idanre Road, Akure South Local Government led to the death of a couple and one other person.
