The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has revealed that the explosion that rocked the ancient city of Ibadan has claimed two lives, while 77 others were injured. The governor in a statement issued on Wednesday said he visited the scene of the explosion which occurred at about 7.44 pm on Tuesday in Bodija, Ibadan.  He added that the unfortunate incident resulted in death and injury to residents in the vicinity and also affected property.
