The Debt Management Office (DMO) has revealed that Nigeria’s total public debt hit N87.38 trillion at the end of the second quarter of 2023. The DMO in a report on Thursday revealed that the current debt stock of N87.38 trillion exceeded its projection by N10.38 trillion. It noted that the debt includes the N22.71 trillion Ways and Means Advances of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the federal government. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has assured Nigerians that efforts were in top gear to restore power supply. The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, says the federal government is currently working on the final details on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa issue.
