The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje has said that no political gang up and arrangement would stop the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
TheHintsNews reports that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had during a press conference on Thursday in Abuja announced that a coalition of opposition political parties that would defeat the ruling party and Tinubu has been formed.
Checks revealed that the immediate past governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, former National Vice Chairman North-West of APC, Salihu Lukman, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, Sunny Monidafe, presidential candidate of Labour party in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi who was represented by Tanko Yinusa were all in attendance when the revelation was made.
Others who have already pitch the coalition are: former Governor of Ekiti state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, among others.
However, Ganduje in a statement issued Thursday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Oliver Okpala, said his support for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 is unshakable and stands like the rock of Gibraltar.
He said: “Dr. Ganduje does not have any fear of the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027. Tinubu will surely emerge victorious because of his untrammelled performance since he assumed office as President of Nigeria.
“Forget the recent political gatherings and rantings from some politicians who presently do not have any identifiable political base.
“Their gathering from the Labour Party, PDP SDP and others are people with different political ideologies and selfish political interests that can never agree on any issue politically.
“The gathering is an assemblage of people with divergent political interests. No amount of political arrangement or gang up can stop the good people of Nigeria from re – electing Tinubu as President in 2027.”
