The executive of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State has suspended the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
The suspension was announced by the legal adviser of the Ward, Halliru Gwanzo, who addressed a press conference in Kano on Monday.
He cited allegations of bribery against Ganduje leveled by the Kano State Government as the reason for the suspension.
Gwarzo added that the suspension takes effect from Monday, 15 April, 2024 until the former governor of the state clears himself from the allegations.
He said: “We decided to suspend Dr. Ganduje from the party due to the seriousness of the allegations against him.”
