The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) has approved the schedule of activities and timetable for the party’s elective national convention scheduled to hold on November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The party made the announcement at its 101st NEC meeting held on Thursday in Abuja.
The party’s NEC also expressed satisfaction over the resolution of internal conflicts, demonstrating its commitment to dialogue and mutual understanding.
It added: “The PDP National Convention will hold on November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State. The party’s NEC will reconvene on August 25, 2025, for its 102nd meeting.”
“NEC directed the National Chairman and National Secretary to inform the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the convention details.”
The party’s NEC also approved the membership composition of the National Convention Committee and National Convention Zoning Committee.
The NEC further directed the National Working Committee (NWC) to take legal action to recover seats of PDP members who defected to other parties.
It expressed concern over some members’ involvement in other parties’ activities and called on them to show loyalty to the PDP.
