The troops of the Nigerian army have nutrialised eight bandits during a fighting patrol in Birnin Gwari local government of Kaduna State.
TheHintsNews reports that the troops made contact with bandits during fighting patrol to Kampanin Doka general area.
On arrival at the location, the troops promptly engaged, and neutralised seven of the bandits.
While searching the area, the troops recovered three AK-47 rifles; Eight AK-47 magazines; four empty and four loaded with a total of 120 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.
Other items recovered are: One magazine carrier; Six motorcycles; Three mobile phones; Two Baofeng radio sets; Three pairs of civilian clothes.
Further contact was made with bandits around Gayam general area, the troops neutralised one, while others were suspected to have escaped with gunshot wounds.
