Two persons were feared dead during a shooting that occurred on Saturday in Okere community, Warri South local government area.
It was gathered that youths in Okere community had resisted the traditional ceremony billed to be performed by Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
TheHintsNews reports that two persons simply identified as Macaulay Uku and Daniel Grey have been reportedly shot by stern looking soldiers.
Multiple sources the youths had resisted the monarch from entering the community to perform the rite, prompting the deployment of soldiers to the area.

“Their main grouse was that the monarch was planning to pour anointing oil on the shrine, as against the established customary rites that the people were used to,” sources said
