The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has assured that the informants of the bandits would suffer the same fate that is already befalling bandits if they fail to repent.
The minister disclosed this Saturday in Abuja at the stakeholders security meeting in Kuje.
He urged the six Council chairmen to empower the vigilante and security officials in their domains, saying failure on their part in that direction was another security threat.
The minister who promised to fix some network of roads like Kuje-Robochi road, Peigyi relocation roads, Kuje Gwagwalada road among others, said abandoned projects could constitute insecurity.
Meanwhile the chairman, Kuje Area Council, Suleiman Sabo, has demanded the halt of illegal mining going on in the council.
He was of the opinion that the illegal activity was constituting to the rate of crimes especially, kidnapping in Kuje.
Sabo lamented that abandoned road projects in some difficult terrain made it strenuous for security agencies to move fast against escaping bandits and other criminals.
