Contrary to reports that Al-Kadriyar sisters were rescued by police anti kidnapping squad and troops of the Nigerian Army, TheHintsNews can reliably report that the sum of N100 million was paid to bandits for their release.
Also, the sum of N60 million was paid for the release of the wife and children of Mr. Ariyo who were kidnapped at Sagwari layout in Dutse, Abuja.
TheHintsNews reports that Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police anti-kidnapping squad in a joint operation with the Nigerian Army, had informed the public that they successfully rescued five out of the six Al-Kadriyar sisters abducted from the Bwari area of Abuja in early January.
TheHintsNews was reliably gathered that .N160 was paid as ransom.
“Alhaji paid N100 million for the release of his daughters, while N60 million was paid by Ariyo for the release of his wife and children.”
Surprisingly, in the statement issued by the police recently informing the public about their purported rescue, there was nowhere in the statement that explain whether there was exchange of gunshots between the security agencies and the bandits before the victims were rescued.
