Some dare-devil bandits have reportedly invaded Buda Hausa community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting 61 people.
A member of the State House of Assembly representing Kajuru constituency, Hon. Usman Danlami Stingo, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview yesterday evening.
Stingo said the bandits invaded the community in the early hours of yesterday, unleashing terror on the community, adding that those abducted included 32 females and 29 males.
He said: “The bandits attacked the community around 12 midnight to 1:00am on Tuesday when residents of the community were sleeping. I raised a motion on the issue today on the floor of the State House of Assembly.”
