The Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake has revealed that the ministry will embark on a comprehensive review of all mining licenses across the country.
Alake disclosed this on Sunday while addressing the All Progressives Congress (APC) press corps.
He noted that the mining sector is a big business the world over and Nigeria must assert itself.
Alake added that the ministry will review the Nigerian mining Act.

The minister also directed that all artisanal miners to join artisanal mining cooperatives within 30 days.
