The Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, has paid a condolence visit to the Bala Waja, Muhammad Muhammad, at his Palace in Talasse, Balanga LGA, Gombe State following the death of his son, the Commissioner for Internal Security, late Col. Abdullahi Bello (rtd.).
Bello passed away in a ghastly motor accident alongside his police orderly, Sergeant Adamu Husaini recently.
Alkali, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser Media, Umar Jibril in Abuja, extolled the legacies of the late commissioner, which was characterised by hard work and the love for humanity.
He added that the passing of a good son of the soil is always painful, but the legacies he left behind can not be forgotten.
According to him, The death of the commissioner for internal security, Col. Abdullahi Bello (rtd) is an irreparable loss to Gombe State and Nigeria as a whole. He was a man of honour, discipline, and selfless service whose legacy of excellence will remain indelible.
“Being a successful security officer, Col. Bello has set an exemplary record of service through his dedication to service. His legacies will continue to inspire future generations, especially those in leadership and public service,” he added.
