The the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC ) has approved the promotion of 819 senior officials to their next rank.
The Spokesperson of the FRSC, ACM Jonas Agwu gave the hint in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He stated that the secretary to the government of the federation, Sen. George Akume, on February 27, 2024, approved the promotion of the 819 senior FRSC officials.
Agwu noted that some of the promoted FRSC officials included one Deputy Corps Marshal, Muhammed Kabo, who represented the Northeast geopolitical zone at the management level.
Others are: Eight Corps Commanders who were promoted to Assistant Corps Marshal; 56 Deputy Corps Commanders promoted to Corps Commanders; 63 assistant Corps Commanders promoted to deputy corps commanders.
Also, 10 Chief Route Commanders were promoted to Assistant Corps Commanders; 63 Superintendent Route Commanders were promoted to Chief Route Commanders; 186 Route Commanders were promoted to Superintend Route Commanders; 86 Deputy Route Commanders were promoted to Route Commanders and 343 Assistant Route Commanders were promoted to Deputy Route Commanders.
