The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state as the winner of the governorship poll.
Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress was declared winner of the November 11 governorship election the state retuning officer, Prof. Abayomi Fasina.
The governor won in all the 27 local government areas of the state, scoring 540,308 votes to be declared winner of the election.
His closest rivals, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sam Anyanwu, scored 71,503 votes, while that of the Labour Party, Athan Achonu, polled 64,081 votes.
