President Bola Tinubu is expected to present the 2024 budget before the National Assembly on Wednesday.
TheHintsNews reports that the National Assembly had last week approved 2024-2026 medium-term expenditure framework (MTEF) and fiscal strategy paper (FSP).
The spokesperson of the House, Hon. Akin Rotimi, in a short statement issued on Monday, confirmed that the budget would be presented this week.
He said: “In response to a number of enquiries, I can confirm that the 2024 Appropriation Bill is expected to be presented to the National Assembly by the federal government this week.”
It could not be confirmed if the President will present the budget himself or he would delegate the authority to the Minister of Finance to present the budget on his behalf.
