The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has increased petrol price in Abuja from N537 to N617 per litre in all its filling stations. The reason for the sudden increase could not be ascertained at the moment. Duvalier Limited, the contractor paid the sum of N45.8 million for the electrification of Boto Town in Tafawa Balewa local government area in Bauchi State has abandoned the project. The project, according to Tracka, was captured in the 2022 Appropriation Act with the National Rural Electrification Agency as the executing agency.
