The Business Women of Influence for Renewed Hope Agenda (BWI-RHA) has announced that it would launch the Osun State Chapter in August 2026 ahead of the 2027 general election.
Osun State Coordinator of the group, Lola Ibrahim in a statement issued Monday said this became necessary as the national body issued a dual directive focused on grassroots expansion and strict compliance with organisational governance.
She said: “The announcement, released by Founder and Director General Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Oyewole, mandates all state chapters including the Osun State Chapter—to immediately implement a structured, multi-tier leadership framework stretching from the state executive council down to individual local government areas (LGAs) and wards.
“Before we transform Nigeria, we must first build a culture of discipline, excellence, and accountability within our own organization.
“Movements don’t become national because they have a National Secretariat. They become national because they have active structures in every Ward.”
The group reaffirmed its vision to build Nigeria’s largest, most respected, and most influential movement of business and professional women — advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda through purposeful leadership, economic empowerment, and grassroots action.
It maintained that every state chapter must urgently establish the state, local government and ward structural tiers to drive community impact.
It added that members must align all operations with the organization’s foundational governing documents to maintain operational unity.
By deploying this structural engine, the group noted that it aimed to scale its impact across local markets, professional associations, and villages.
This, it said, would identify and expand grassroots women-led businesses, discover and mentor future female leaders and actively drive voter education and local mobilization.
