The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Bauchi State counterpart, Bala Mohammed and Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state are in contention on who emerges the 2023 Democracy Man of the Year.
The award being spearheaded by Face of Democracy Nigeria (FDN) is organised to recognise political office holders who have advanced the frontiers of democracy in their various offices.
The Project Director, Olufunsho Ajagbonna while briefing newsmen in Abuja expressed satisfaction with the performances of the state chief executives in ongoing online voting.
He announced that voting exercise ends Friday, July 28, 2023.
Ajagbonna urged supporters and loyalists of the governors to demonstrate love to them by visiting the voting portal to cast their votes.
He noted the date for the award will be announced upon conclusion of voting.
