The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
He also called on the three times champion to bring the trouphy home having reach the final of the competition
Nigeria in a nervy competition on Thursday night won South Africa in a penalty shootout after the match ended 1-1 after 120 minutes.
With the victory, the Super Eagles have booked their place in the finals of the tournament.
Kalu, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Levinus Nwabughiogu, said that the team has shown commendable resilience in their previous outings, charging them to stay even more compact in the finals.
He stressed that the players have made all Nigerians happy with their winning streak and also charged them to be focused on winning the trophy, saying it is now in their court to bring the trouphy home.
