Dickens Sanomi Foundation (DSF) has donated ₦5m to children in critical health condition with cheques presented to beneficiaries.
Also, an unanimous donation of ₦12m made for a child’s heart surgery at the occasion.
The donation was made during the 19th annual Christmas/End-of-Year party organised Global Initiative for Peace, Love & Care (GIPLC) in Abuja.
The Chairperson , Better Life Program for the African Rural Woman (BLPARW), Aisha Babangida also provided educational grant to support the education of 10 students for the next five years.
Cheques were presented to the 10 recipients of the 2024 GIPLC PRIME-ED (Primary Education) Scholarship during the event.
She donated funds for the surgeries of 50 children, providing them with a second chance at a healthy and fulfilling life.
Babangida had partnered with GIPLC to renovate a Mosque at Mpape Abuja FCT, which provides accommodation for over 300 almajirin children.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the GIPLC 2024 Heart of Gold Award to Aisha Babangida, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to humanity and community development.
