Glow FM Akure Social Media and ICT personnel, Mr. Oluwatobi Oyebade, alongside the station’s only driver, Kolawole Olumide, have reportedly resigned from the organisation.
TheHintsNews reports that their resignation was coming barely days after the resignation of its immediate past General Manager and the subsequent appointment of a new helmsman.
Checks revealed that Oyebade tendered his resignation on Wednesday with immediate effect after allegedly feeling underappreciated by the management despite his significant contributions to the transformation and innovation within the station’s ICT unit.
The ICT expert, who is said to be the son of a former commissioner in Ondo State, reportedly communicated his decision through a text message sent directly to the Chairman of the station.
His resignation came barely 24 hours after the station’s only driver also exited the organisation, a development insiders say has sparked concerns due to the strategic nature of both responsibilities.
The management of the station is now said to be making frantic efforts to secure immediate replacements in order to prevent operational disruptions.
