The National Programme Manager of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), Mr. Hamza Baba, has felicitated with the Deputy Director-General, Coordination, Cityboy Movement, Mr. Favour Abayomi, on the occasion of his 55th birthday.
Baba, in a congratulatory statement issued on Thursday, described Abayomi as a visionary leader, team player and patriot whose commitment to national service had remained exemplary.
He recalled Abayomi’s contributions to the pioneering phase of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), where he worked closely with the former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
According to him, Abayomi’s service during the early years of the NSIP demonstrated his commitment to grassroots development and improving the welfare of vulnerable Nigerians.
“Your dedication to lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty through grassroots-focused programmes remains a benchmark of public service,” Baba stated.
He said Abayomi’s experience in grassroots mobilisation and social intervention had continued to distinguish him as a committed public servant and political organiser.
Baba also commended Abayomi for his current role as Deputy Director-General, Coordination, of the Cityboy Movement, saying he had continued to mobilise youths and promote humanitarian interventions across the country.
He noted that Abayomi’s activities were contributing to the advancement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, particularly through youth mobilisation and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.
The GEEP National Programme Manager said Abayomi’s ability to combine political mobilisation with humanitarian service reflected his commitment to national development.
“We celebrate your commitment, wisdom, and selfless service to the nation,” Baba said.
He prayed that the celebrant would be blessed with greater strength, grace and good health as he entered a new chapter of his life.
“May this new age bring you greater strength, grace, good health, and more opportunities to serve our dear country,” he added.
Baba further expressed confidence that Abayomi would continue to deploy his experience and influence towards initiatives that would positively impact Nigerians, especially young people and vulnerable communities.
The GEEP National Programme Manager extended the birthday wishes on behalf of his family, the GEEP family and his political associates.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Abayomi and wished him many more years of impactful service to Nigeria.
