Nigeria is currently facing a period of widespread protests sparked by the removal of the fuel subsidy and so call hunger. The protests have intensified public unrest and raised concerns about opposition manipulation. In these challenging times, leadership and unity are crucial to navigating the nation through the crisis.

The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has emerged as a pivotal force in rallying support for President Bola Tinubu and amplifying his achievements led by Hon. James  Faleke. The group has been at the forefront of preaching against protests and promoting unity among Nigerians across the states of the federation.

The group has shown the benefits of a cohesive team in addressing public grievances and proposing solutions. The group’s efforts have helped to counter the growing dissent and demonstrate unity, thereby reinforcing President Tinubu’s position.

One of the highlights of its efforts was the recent gathering across the country where several Nigerians came together to show support to President Tinubu. This event was a testament to its ability to mobilise support for the President and his agenda.

The group has once again commenced its efforts to mobilise support for Tinubu, just as it did five years ago when the group first started to promote his candidacy. The recent gathering, which lasted for seven days from August 1st to August 7th, 2024, marked the beginning of a new phase in the group’s efforts to rally support for the President’s vision and achievements.

The event saw several high-profile political office holders in attendance, including Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund, Tosin Adeyanju, Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Baffa Agundi, Director General, National Directorate of Employment, Silas Agara and Director General, Nigeria Hydrological Service Agency, Umar Ibrahim.

Others who attended include; the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund, Mohammed Sheidu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Yetunde Adeniji, Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Minister of State for Youth, Ayodele Olawande and thousands of ordinary Nigerians from all corners of the nation.

They all came to pledge their support for President Tinubu and to call on other Nigerians to be patient with the President as he works to address the challenges facing the nation.

Many of those in attendance also called for dialogue and peaceful resolution of the issues, urging Nigerians to come together and work towards a common goal. They emphasised that the President was committed to the well-being of all Nigerians and that his policies are designed to benefit the nation as a whole and not punish Nigerians.

The attendees encouraged Nigerians to give the President the time and support he needs to implement his vision for the country and not join protesters to destroy our country.

Unfortunately, not all appointees of President Tinubu have demonstrated the same level of commitment and support for the President. It is essential that more appointees join gatherings like the recent event to demonstrate their solidarity with President Tinubu whenever the need arises.

Such events provide a platform for appointees to showcase their commitment to the President’s vision and share his achievements and plans with the people.

By attending these gatherings, appointees can send a powerful message to the nation, demonstrating their unity behind the President’s leadership and their dedication to working together to address the challenges facing the country.

In contrast, the group has shown that it is possible to work together and support the President and the nation. Their leadership and dedication are an example to all, and it is time for others to follow their lead.

The gathering also saw several celebrities, including veteran Nollywood star, Zack Orji, Afrobeat singers Danfo Driver and Zule Zu in attendance. They came to identify with President Tinubu and to lend their voices to the call for unity and dialogue.

It was a powerful show of support for the President and a testament to the group ability to mobilise support from all sectors of society.

The celebrities who attended the event used their platforms to call for calm and urge Nigerians to embrace dialogue rather than protests. They emphasized the need for unity and the importance of working together to address the nation’s challenges.

The group’s efforts have helped to create a sense of hope and optimism among Nigerians. The group’s leadership has shown that with unity and determination, it is possible to overcome even the most daunting challenges.

As Nigeria continues to face challenges, the group’s role in amplifying President Tinubu’s achievements and preaching against protests has been a shining example of the impact that a cohesive team can have in times of crisis.

The Tinubu Support Group has played a crucial role in rallying support for President Tinubu and promoting unity among Nigerians. Their efforts have helped to create a sense of hope and optimism and have demonstrated the power of unity in the face of adversity. As Nigeria moves forward, the group’s leadership will be essential in navigating the nation through the challenges ahead.
