The crisis between Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State and his deputy, Philip Shaibu shows no sign of abating with the governor moving the office of his deputy outside the Government House on Saturday. Terrorists continued their reign of terror on Friday night after killing worshippers in a Mosque at Saya-Saya village in Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing seven people. The terrorists carried out the dastardly act around 8pm when the villagers were performing Isha’i (Sunset) prayers at a local mosque. It was gathered that five of the victims were gunned down in the mosque, while the remaining two other victims were killed at different locations within the area. A Federal Capital Territory High Court Thursday convicted six people on one count separate charges bordering on internet fraud by Justice O. I. Adelaja. The defendants who were docked by the Abuja Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) were; Anekwu Peterdamian, Eta Okang, Kolawole Taiwo, Ohue Daniel, Ocholi Husseni and Olatunji Johnson. Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, says the federal government will embark on complete overhaul of the old terminal at the Muritala Muhammed Airport, Lagos. The minister in a statement issued Friday by the Head of Press and Public Affairs, Odutayo Oluseyi said, 60 per cent revenue of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) comes from Lagos and as such the new terminal should be used optimally.
