The accident that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday on Bwari-Dutse expressway has claimed the life of a taxi driver, while many others are injured.
According to any eyewitness, the accident was as a result of overspeeding of the lorry carrying sand.
He said: “There was a very serious and fatal accident at Bwari-Dutse expressway. The accident happened close to the army checkpoint in Bwari.
“The taxi driver is dead and many were injured. There are a lot of casualties. Two taxis were compressed under the lorry.”
