The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for Ondo state Governorship primary would commence on April 3rd and end on April 10.
The National Organising Secretary of the party, Suleiman Argungun in a notice issued Monday said the release of the schedule of activities was in compliance with the Electoral Act 2022 and relevant sections of the Constitution.
He said: “In compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Electoral Act 2022, the APC hereby makes public it’s timetable and schedule of activities leading to the 16th November, 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo state as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).”
Argungun said the primary election would be held on April 25, while the primary election appeal would be held on April 26.
The ruling party pegged the expression of interest form at N10 million, while the nomination form was pegged at N40, 000.
It added that female aspirants and Persons living with disabilities (PWDs) are to purchase expression of interest form, while the nomination form is free.
