Osun State Amotekun Corps has successfully recovered a stolen Toyota Matrix vehicle and six LG 42-inch televisions following a robbery incident at a hotel in Ode-Omu. Its Public Relations Officer, Yusuf Abass in a statement issued Tuesday said the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, when a group of armed robbers stormed a hotel in Ode-Omu, where victims from Lagos had lodged overnight to attend a funeral ceremony. In August 2023, terrorists, obviously with better intelligence, ambushed soldiers in Chikoba community, Shiroro, Local Government Area of Niger State, killing no fewer than 25 of them.
