Security forces have arrested several gunmen associated with notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji near the Nigeria-Niger border in Sokoto State. The arrest, according to Zagazola Makama, occurred during an operation aimed at curbing cross-border banditry and criminal activities in the region. The federal government has authorised the termination of employees in both the public and private sectors who possess counterfeit degree certificates acquired from the Republics of Benin and Togo.
