The National Executive Council (NEC) of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has announced the dissolution of the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Mr. Ajuji Ahmed and Mr. Dipo Olayokun as Acting National Chairman and National Secretary. The federal government has resolved to sue Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust Newspapers over a “misleading” report on the Somoa agreement. The moment of respite enjoyed by the people of Garam, a community in Niger state was brought to an end early Saturday morning when bandits attacked the community, kidnapping a pregnant woman and four other persons.
