The House of Representatives Committee on Disability has revealed that the process to re-enact the Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) Act was already ongoing. The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Bashiru Dawodu made this known on Monday in Abuja at the inaugural meeting of the committee. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) has secured the conviction and sentencing of Jesse Joshua Kassah, (alias Devaun Smith Wayne) to two years imprisonment. The agency in a statement issued Monday said its Kaduna Zonal Command secured his conviction on Monday. It noted that investigations showed that he impersonated an American soldier, Devaun Smith Wayne and used his identity to defraud his victims in the process.
