The organised labour led by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has suspended the nationwide strike. This followed the meeting held on Wednesday between the representatives of the labour union and the federal government. An election observer group, Gender and Election Watch (GEW) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to provide dedicated polling units for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in subsequent elections in the country. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said that the old Naira notes which includes, N200, N500 and N1,000 denominations introduced  in October 2022 will remain as legal tender indefinitely.
