Troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have neutralised bandits and also arrested 59 suspects in connection with kidnapping, armed robbery, cattle rustling, railway vandalism, gunrunning, and illegal mining. Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court Abuja has fixed November 1 to deliver judgment on the legal battle to compel the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to release the sum of $9.8 million cash seized from the former Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Andrew Yakubu in his Kaduna residence since 2017.
