President Bola Tinubu has called Governor Ademola Adeleke following his victory in the just concluded Osun state governorship election held on Saturday.
Adeleke, who contested on the platform of Accord Party defeated Munirudeen Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
After the announcement of results from the 30 Local Government Areas of the state, the governor polled a total of 511,067 votes to defeat his close challenger, Oyebamiji who gathered 444, 811 votes.
Adeleke won 19 Local Government Areas out of the 30, while Oyebamiji won 11 local governments to come second.
However, TheHintsNews reliably gathered that the President has called to congratulate the governor on his victory.
Nevertheless, the official announcement from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is still being awaited as of the time of filing this report.
