The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Monday said it has revoked the banking licence of Heritage Bank. It added that the bank has continued to suffer and has no reasonable prospects of recovery, thereby making the revocation of the license the next necessary step. Organised labour has shut down the national grid resulting in black out nationwide being experienced by Nigerians, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has said. Its General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah in a statement issued Monday said the national grid shut down occured at about 2.19a.m on Monday.
