The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) Tuesday arrested 21 trucks loaded with food and non-food items heading towards N’djamena, Chad Republic, Central African Republic and Cameroon. The trucks were intercepted by the operatives of the Maiduguri Zonal Command of the agency in a sting operation at major exit routes along Kalabiri/Gamboru Ngala and Bama roads, Borno State. Nollywood actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu is dead. His death was coming just a day after death of another Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri. Sources close to him revealed that he passed away at Evercare Hospital. He was 62.
