The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has vowed that airlines that failed to pay refunds within the timeframe stipulated by the NCAA Regulations 2023 would be sanctioned. The regional office building abandoned for over two decades was inaugurated by NCAA acting Director-General, Capt. Chris Najomo on Friday at the Port Harcourt International Airport. The Osun state government has reduced the external debt of the state by 15 per cent. According to the breakdown by the Debt Management Office (DMO) on domestic and external debts since 2022 which was posted on the X handle of Statisense, the domestic debt was also reduced by 42 per cent. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad flew out of Damascus for an unknown destination on Sunday, two senior army officers told Reuters, as rebels said they had entered the capital with no sign of army deployments.
